The method

Seven Phases. Every Engagement. No Exceptions.

A method that gets reinvented for every client is a service. A method that runs identically is a product, and only a product can be handed to someone else to run. So the spine never changes — variation is confined to seven named slots, listed at the bottom of this page.

The spine

Diagnose, Prescribe, Install, Train, Hand Over

Each phase produces an artifact and closes at a gate. A gate that is passed without being met is the reason engagements overrun, so we check backwards before we ever sell additional days.

01

Intake

Decide whether this is a real engagement, which vertical it belongs to, and what paper it needs. Nothing is promised here.

GateA named owner exists on your side, budget authority is confirmed, and the correct agreement is identified. Missing any one, it goes to nurture rather than forward.
ConsumesNone
02

Diagnostic

Establish, in your own words, what is broken. Scored against the five failure modes. We interview the person who will own the system and, separately, the person currently holding it together by memory.

GateYou read the findings and agree they are accurate. Not that you like them. Disagreement means we got it wrong or interviewed the wrong people, and we redo it.
Consumes0.5 virtual, or 1 Ambassador Day on site
03

Prescription

Convert findings into a sequenced, costed plan — the Map. Sequenced by dependency, not severity. Each fix assigned to blueprint, deployment, or your own staff, and priced against the published rate card.

GateWritten acceptance of scope, sequence, and price. For Partner engagements the custom build is scoped here in writing, or not at all.
ConsumesNone. Desk work.
04

Provision

Stand up your software environment and get your owner operating it: pipeline stages, custom fields, intake forms, booking rules, templates, store, courses, analytics, migration, users and permissions.

GateYour named owner logs in and completes one real task end to end — intake a request, schedule it, send the confirmation — unaided, while we watch and say nothing. If we have to help, it is not provisioned.
ConsumesSetup Days: 0.5 Cohort, 3 Blueprint, 5 Partner
05

Install

Put the operating method in your hands. Provision gave you the software; Install gives you the practice. Blueprint library and curriculum mapped to your programs and audience, plus the people system stood up.

GateYour staff independently select a program from the library, assemble the materials list, and produce a run plan — without us naming which program.
Consumes1 Ambassador Day, 2 for Partner
06

First Cycle

Run one real program with your people, not for them. Our Ambassadors lead the first segment; your staff lead a later segment the same day while we observe. Debrief immediately.

GateYour staff ran a segment without us. Not shadowed us. Ran it.
Consumes1 Cohort, 2 Blueprint, up to 5 Partner
07

Handover

Make the system outlive the person who bought it. SOPs written in your voice, using your terminology and your org chart. Evidence package handed over. Review scheduled.

GateA named owner and a named backup both accept in writing. A single owner is a single point of failure.
Consumes1 Ambassador Day

No phase is skipped. An organization that insists on skipping the Diagnostic is buying activities rather than a system, and we will sell a la carte days instead and call it that.

Two units, not one

Configuration Is Not Facilitation

Provision is remote technical work. Install and First Cycle are on-site facilitation. Different work, different people, different capacity — and conflating them is how engagements get under-scoped.

So your included Ambassador Days are never spent on software configuration. Onboarding is a separate one-time fee, quoted at Prescription.

Setup Day

Software configuration, integration, migration, admin training. Remote. Drawn from the technical bench.

Ambassador Day

Program delivery, facilitation, staff training. On your site, within fifty miles. Drawn from the field bench.

A client with a functioning CRM and clean records provisions in half the time of one with a decade of spreadsheets. We scope both at Prescription and price the difference rather than absorbing it.

The seven slots

The Only Places a Vertical Differs

Everything above is identical in every sector. These seven cells are what change. If a prospective vertical cannot be expressed in them, that is the test for whether it belongs in the model at all.

What never varies

These Are the Things That Get Argued About Under Deadline Pressure.

  • The gates. All of them, in order, every engagement. A fiscal deadline does not buy a skipped Diagnostic.
  • The diagnostic instrument. Same five failure modes, same scoring, every vertical — comparability is what makes the next Map better than the last.
  • Client staff presence. Named in advance, present throughout, every deployment. Not waivable.
  • The data boundary. No prospective or enrolled student information enters our system. Ever. Aggregate counts only.
  • Ambassador compensation. The same rate on every engagement, whatever the client paid.
  • Booking mechanics. Windows, lead times, blackouts, and the 14-day cancellation rule apply identically. Nobody buys their way past a finals week.
